Like, who would be stupid enough to play TFH as their first Zelda game? I chose A Link Between Worlds since it’s the closest to Triforce Heroes. I think Ocarina of Time is the absolute best all-around Zelda, the one that does everything right.

Then I didn’t play another LoZ game for probably 25 years, then I got Ocarina on 3DS and beat it. Honestly though, it didn’t live up to the hype at all for me. A few years later I got the NES Classic and played the original when my daughter was first born, another amazing experience. Then I started diggin into other LoZ games, Link Between Worlds, LoZ 2, Link to the Past, and I was in love. Got a Switch in 2020, first game was BoTW and it was somehow exactly what the original felt like in the 80’s but just…more.
